‘eviction drives to go on till BJP Govt is there in state’

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in the assembly that eviction drives to remove encroachers from government and forest land “will continue as long as the BJP government is there in the state.” Sarma said most of the squatters are from the minority community and the encroachment problem is directly related to the uncontrolled population growth in the community.
