‘Insult to national anthem’: Mumbai court issues summons to Mamata Banerjee

The complaint stated that during a programme convened by writer-poet Javed Akhtar last year, Mamata Banerjee, who was the main speaker at the event, was sitting when the national anthem started. 

Later she stood up, sang two verses and abruptly stopped singing the anthem again.
