10-year-old dies after falling into open nala in Secunderabad

A 10-year-old girl died near Kalasiguda in Secunderabad after falling into an open nala, the police said. The incident happened in Mahankali Police Station limits. It is said that the deceased had gone out to purchase milk packets in the morning at around 7:30 AM. It was raining heavily, and it is believed that the girl must have slipped and fallen in the nala which was linked to a bigger one. The police said that it was not in a manhole that the girl fell.
