103-year-old becomes oldest woman in India to get COVID-19 vaccine

A 103-year-old woman received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in Bengaluru on Tuesday. With this, J Kameshwari became the oldest woman in India to have received the COVID-19 vaccine as per available data, said Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road.

In this phase, those above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with co-morbidities are eligible to register and receive a Covid-19 jab.
