2021 pass-outs struggle for job opportunities as firms look the other way

Being dependant on virtual mode for their final year, students who have passed out of colleges this year are struggling to land up on jobs. Most of the companies are rejecting their applications citing various reasons like inadequate training to lack of practical exposure through internships, etc.

"We've seen many of our batchmates working as telemarketers, and some have stopped looking out for jobs in the banks and IT sectors and even started going for tailoring jobs and household work," said J Priya, who graduated this year.
