2 tourists die on way to Darjeeling, 5 injured in West Bengal

Two tourists died and five others, including the driver, sustained injuries after their vehicle met with an accident at Phansidew block's Bidhannagar on Saturday. The accident was caused when the tourist vehicle hit a lorry, whose tyres were being changed due to a puncture, from behind at a high speed. "After a 30-minute operation, five were rescued and sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Doctors declared two dead while five others are in critical condition," said a police officer.
