Andhra Pradesh HC issues notices on Rushikonda Hill case

The Andhra Pradesh HC has issued notices to the Managing Director of the A.P. Tourism Corporation, Visakhapatnam Collector, and Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Commissioner, asking them to file counter-affidavits on the Rushikonda Hill issues.
The notices were issued about a contempt petition filed by a Jana Sena Party corporator who alleged that ‘rampant mining’ was being done atop the hill beside the HC's order to follow norms.
