Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma calls out 'Dance Deewane 3' for racism

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said racism should be condemned "unequivocally" after a contestant from Guwahati on a dance reality show was subjected to racist rhetoric.

An introduction for a contestant from Assam on a dance show on TV with the words "momo", "chowmein" and "gibberish Chinese" has triggered a massive backlash, including from the state's Chief Minister.
