BCCI announces ‘Impact Player’ rule for T20

Providing an option of making a ‘tactical substitution’ during a particular match depending on the developing situations and conditions of the game. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the induction of the ‘Impact Player’ rule in the domestic T20 league i.e. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The captain is supposed to name 4 players in substitute with the playing XI during the toss.
