BigBasket faces data breach, details of over 2 crore users put on sale on dark web

BigBasket has filed a police complaint with Cyber Crime Cell in Bengaluru after a cyber intelligence firm claimed that the grocery e-commerce platform has faced a potential data breach which could have leaked details of its around 2 crore users.

The cyber intelligence firm, Cyble, claimed that a hacker has put data allegedly belonging to BigBasket on sale for around Rs 30 lakh on the dark web.
