BJP releases U’khand manifesto, promises stricter ‘love jihad’ law

Barely a few days before polling in Uttarakhand scheduled on February 14 the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday launched its manifesto for the hill state.
Nitin Gadkari, Union road transport and highways minister released the manifesto, titled “Vision Document-2022”, at a city hotel. The party promised a stricter law on ‘love jihad’ and “necessary measures to stop the demographic changes in Uttarakhand” if voted back to power.
