BSNL officers’ union calls for hunger strike from Monday

The officers’ union of state-owned telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL, on Saturday, announced that its members will be going on an indefinite hunger strike from Monday.

Sanchar Nigam Executives Association (SNEA) demands standard pay scale implementation and regular promotions. The Association had undertaken industrial action on earlier occasions also (the last one being in January 2022), seeking redressal of their grievances to vis-a-vis the aforementioned issues.
