COP26: ‘One of the Whitest’ Climate Conferences in Years, Say Environmentalists

Representatives from the ‘Global South’ have found it challenging to show up to the COP26 climate talks. Most lower-income countries were taken off the UK’s red-list only two weeks before the conference, forcing them to change their plans in costly ways. 

Participants have complained that it’s a climate summit in which the countries hit hardest by climate change cannot get their voices heard.
