Coronavirus: India logs 1,27,952 new cases, daily positivity rate falls to 7.98% from 9.27%

India on Saturday recorded 1,27,952 coronavirus cases, taking the overall infection count to 4,20,80,664 since the pandemic broke out in January 2020. The number of cases is 14.35% fewer than Friday's count of 1,49,394 infections .

With 1,059 deaths, the climbed to 5,01,114 on Saturday. India’s fatality count includes 370 backlog deaths that Kerala added to its toll. are 13,31,648 active cases in the country and 4,02,47,902 patients have recovered from the infection.
