Coronavirus on Jan 04, Chennai’s Leela Palace turns Covid hotspot

Twenty staff members at Chennai's star hotel, the Leela Palace, have tested positive for COVID-19, health authorities said on Monday.

This is Chennai's second luxury hotel to have emerged as a COVID-19 cluster after the ITC Grand Chola. At the Leela Palace, 232 staff members were tested and results of about 10 per cent showed they had the coronavirus disease, a senior health official said.
