The countdown for Aditya-L1 has begun and the mission is scheduled to launch at 11.50 am IST tomorrow from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. After the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the south pole of the moon, the solar mission aims to observe solar activities and their effects on space weather in real-time. The spacecraft carries seven payloads to observe the atmosphere, chromosphere and outermost layers of the sun, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
