Covid lockdown in Uttar Pradesh extended till May 31, industries exempted

Uttar Pradesh government has decided to extend the statewide curfew to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission till May 31. A decision was taken in this regard following a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by UP CM Yogi Adityanath in Kanpur.
Vaccinations, industrial activity, essential services and movement related to medical emergencies will be exempted from the restrictions.
