Crack appears on NHAI's new road to Kuthiran tunnel

Formation of a crack on the national highway's Mannuthy-Wadakkanchery stretch has triggered anxiety among residents and road users. A crack, reportedly of about 5m, developed at Vazhakkumpara near Kuthiran tunnel on the NH stretch which was constructed at a cost of Rs 1,019 crore. One side of the road was constructed in a shoddy manner by using stones, even without proper cementing work, he said.
