Delhi Govt Announces Electric Vehicle Policy: Up to Rs 1.5 Lakh Incentive

On Friday, the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi notified the launch of an Electric Vehicle Policy for the city. The policy is valid for three years post which the government will review its outcome.
The AAP government will provide financial assistance of up to Rs 30,000 for two-wheelers, autos, e-rickshaws and freight vehicles and up to Rs 1.5 lakh for cars. It will also waive registration fee, road tax, and give low-interest loans on electric commercial vehicles.
