EC Extends Ban On Physical Rallies Till Feb 11, Allows 1,000 In Public Meets

The Election Commission of India on Monday extended the ban on physical rallies in the five poll-bound states till February 11 as COVID-19 cases remain high in the country.
After a meeting to review the situation, the poll body, however, decided to increase the limit on the number of people allowed to attend physical public meetings to 1,000 from the earlier 500.
