Flowers crowd this railway station for Onam celebration

IRAS officer Amit Singh has posted a beautiful picture of a train and a railway station, in Kerala, all decked up for Onam. Kerala celebrates the harvest festival with great devotion and preparation. In tune with the festive spirit, the railway station, too, has been decorated with flowers, turning the otherwise crowded-with-people place into a crowded-with-flowers one. While posting the photo, the officer wrote, “The flowers near the tracks are real and have been planted specially for the occasion”.
