Goa BJP MLA tests Covid positive; all legislators to get tested

Goa cancels major festivities over Covid surge a day after BJP MLA Atanasio Monserrate tested positive for Covid-19, the Goa legislature department has directed all its MLAs and staff to make themselves available for swab testing at local government hospitals. The was issued in the midst of the ongoing Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. The session is scheduled to end on March 3.
