Goa CM files nomination papers; Parrikar's son to contest as independent

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday filed his nomination papers from the Sanquelim constituency in North Goa for the February 14 Assembly polls.
"We will win 22 plus seats in these 2022 elections," Sawant said after filing his nomination papers in the company of Bharatiya Janata Party's Goa election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis.
