Cash withdrawals will become marginally more expensive from January 1, 2022, as the Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ) has announced new rules for users exceeding their monthly free transactions. Various consumer goods like clothes, textiles, footwear will become costlier from today since the GST rates on all these items will increase to 12 per cent from 5 per cent.
