Harappan-era city of Dholavira gets Unesco’s World Heritage Site tag

Dholavira, a Harappan-era city in Gujarat, has been inscribed as a World Heritage Site (WHS) by the UNESCO heritage committee. The decision was taken at the ongoing 44th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO held online and chaired from China on Tuesday.

The session had earlier named Rudreswara temple in Telangana, also known as Ramappa temple, as a World Heritage Site.
