HDFC, Bajaj Finance hike FD interest

HDFC has increased interest rates on fixed deposits by 15 to 20 basis points (100bps = 1 percentage point) effective May 12. For retail deposits ranging from 33 months to 99 months, the corporation offers interest between 6.65% and 6.95%.
It also offers an additional 0.05% interest rate on individual deposits placed through the online system.
