Hindu groups 'force' boys to wear saffron shawls in classrooms

After hijab row, Karnataka is now witnessing a controversy over saffron shawls in a pre-university college. It has been reported that some Hindu groups allegedly forced boys to wear saffron shawls on the college campus in the Udupi district as a response to Muslim girls insisting on wearing hijab in classrooms.

The incident was reported from the Government Pre-University College in Udupi district’s Byndoor town.
