Hyderabad surgeons remove 12kg polycystic liver from woman

In a rare case, a woman who had a polycystic liver weighing 12-kilogram, kidney disease and hernia, was operated at a city-based hospital. The patient, Usha Agarwal, 50, a housewife from Siliguri in West Bengal, was first recommended liver transplant in 2019. Doctors had performed the simultaneous liver and kidney transplantations in the first week of November.
