India’s Silicon Valley Turns Into Lake

Heavy torrential rainfall has turned Bengaluru— India’s ‘Silicon Valley’ into a lake of sorts. Bangaloreans had to face a harrowing time as several residential areas in the IT city were waterlogged owing to heavy rains, prompting authorities to send rafts to evacuate people.  

The most affected areas are said to be Bellandur, Sarjapura Road, Whitefield, Outer Ring Road, and BEML Layout.
