India Meteorological Department's Twitter account hacked

India Meteorological Department's Twitter account has been hacked. Their official Twitter handle had over 246k followers.

MD Director-General Mrutyunjay Mahapatra said, "It has been hacked, we are trying to restore it." On the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, the Twitter account of the UP Chief Minister's Office was hacked and later restored. UP government has initiated a cyber security probe.
