On January 1, Chinese government mouthpieces put out videos reportedly showing the unfurling of China's national flag near the India-China border, claiming it be from the Galwan valley.
The provocation at the border came days after China “renamed” 15 places in Arunachal Pradesh. Following the release of the videos, the Opposition grabbed the opportunity to train their guns on the BJP-led government.
