ISRO successfully lands Reusable Launch Vehicle in maiden demo using Chinook helicopter

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully conducted the landing demonstration of its under development Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) in Chitradurga of Karnataka. The test was conducted at the Aeronautical Test Range (ATR), Chitradurga in the early hours of April 2. The spacecraft resembles NASA's space shuttles that acted as the US space agency's biggest transporter into Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The spacecraft took off via Indian Air Force Chinook helicopter.
