ISS Captured Over Rome Colosseum is ‘Once in a Lifetime’ Photo

To mark the first National Space Day in Italy, the Parco Archeologico del Colosseo and the Virtual Telescope Project came together to capture a once in a lifetime image showing space and the Earth coming together.

Astrophysicist Gianluca Masi captured a breathtaking image of the International Space Station passing over the Roman Colosseum.
