Javed Akhtar urges people to show compassion, forgive 18-year-old alleged ‘Bulli Bai’ mastermind

After an 18-year-old woman was arrested by the Mumbai police in connection with the Bulli Bai app controversy, Javed Akhtar expressed his opinion.

He tweeted, “If bully bai was masterminded by an 18-year-old girl who has recently lost her parents to cancer and Corona, the women should meet her and make her understand why whatever she did was wrong. Show compassion and forgive her.”
