Joe Biden gets first dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, says, "There's nothing to worry about."

US President-elect Joe Biden received his first injected dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on live on television on Monday in an effort to boost confidence in its safety ahead of its wide distribution next year. After getting the shot, a dose of the vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc, Biden praised medical professionals as "heroes".

“I'm doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared when it's available to take the vaccine. There's nothing to worry about," Biden said.
