Kannada language bill during next session: CM Basavaraj Bommai

The state government is planning to table a comprehensive Kannada Language Comprehensive Development Bill in the next session of the legislature in Bengaluru after some improvements and fine tuning of the draft legislation. CM Basavaraj Bommai said, "We only want the issue to be debated in detail in public and in the legislature session." The government had planned to table the bill in the winter session of the legislature held in Belagavi last month.
