The government aims to offload 3.5 percent of its holding in the insurance behemoth, subject to regulator approval; an application can be made by May 9. For the anchor investor, the date of application would be May 2.
The government has already filed a DRHP with the market regulator SEBI. Going by the market valuation of ₹6 lakh crore, the issue size is estimated at ₹ 21,000 crores.
