Maharashtra: Recovery rate rises to 92.76%; death toll crosses 90,000-mark

Maharashtra on Tuesday recorded 24,136 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of active cases to 3,14,368. Besides, 601 COVID-19 deaths were reported in the day, taking the number of total fatalities to 90,349. 36,176 patients were discharged in the day, taking the tally to 52,18,768. The recovery rate in the state rose to 92.76%.
The case fatality rate in the state is 1.61%.
