Man beheads eight-year-old girl, roams village with severed head in Odisha

A 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly beheading an eight-year-old girl and roaming with the severed head across a village in Odisha's Sambalpur district on Friday, police said. The motive behind the macabre incident is yet to be ascertained.

The girl had gone to relieve herself at a farmland in the morning, following which the accused went there with an axe and beheaded her.
