Akash Kumar won a team silver in the recently-concluded 16th Asian Schools Chess Championship held in Kalutara Hyderabad. The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) student Irondla Akash Kumar won a team silver in the recently-concluded 16th Asian Schools Chess Championship held in Kalutara. Akash said the medal is special it was his maiden international appearance.
