Modi govt’s neoliberal policies are to blame for the unabating rise in fuel prices

For the last two weeks, prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas have increased twelve times. A liter of petrol now costs Rs. 118.4 in Mumbai and diesel Rs 105 in Chittor.

Such a rise in fuel prices has a cascading effect not just on transport but on all other sectors of the economy too, leading to an alarming rise in inflation.
