Mumbai: ICMR says will stick to 84-day gap for Covishield

Citing scientific reasons, the Indian Council Of Medical Research (ICMR) has said there will be no reduction in the interval between two doses of the Covishield vaccine for Covid-19.
In August, the Centre had told the Kerala High Court that the 84-day gap between two doses of Covishield was fixed to increase the efficacy of the vaccine, as recommended by the National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Covid-19 (NEGVAC).
