Mumbai: Vehicles engaged in essential services to get colour-coded stickers to avoid traffic jams

In a unique initiative for those engaged in essential services to avoid unnecessary traffic, the Mumbai Police has initiated colour-coded stickers for all authorised vehicles which are allowed to ply in the current lockdown-like restrictions.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale said in a statement that the colour-coded stickers are important so that the healthcare workers like doctors, nurses, medical staffs, vehicles like ambulances and medical suppliers are not stranded in traffic jams.
