No need to demolish Ramsetu: Report

The recent report submitted by the Mumbai-based institute, which carried out the structural audit of the Ramsetu bridge over Godavari river, states that there is no need to demolish the bridge as it is still in good shape. The Ramsetu bridge, built in 1956, connects the Panchavati area with other parts of the city like the Raviwar Karanja and Saraf Bazaar areas. However, the institute has suggested minor repair works on an urgent basis.
