Pangong Lake, the world's highest saltwater lake, has reopened for tourists almost a year after it was shut due to COVID-19 restrictions, and military conflict that escalated between India and China later in the year.

Located at approx. 14,000 ft., the lake is recognised for its serene landscape, and crystal clear waters.  All visitors have to carry COVID-19 negative test results not older than 72 hours to 'visit all destinations and adhere to the 7-day mandatory quarantine.
