BJP leader Priti Gandhi shared a photo of slum-dwellers living near railway tracks and claimed that the Supreme Court is legitimizing encroachment. This comes after the Supreme Court stayed the order of the Uttarakhand HC to evict 4,000 families residing on railways lands in Haldwani. On performing a reverse image search of the photo, we found it in an article published by ABC News in 2016. We searched for the photo on Getty Images and found it was published in 2013.
