Plea in SC seeks CJI intervention; prime accused a history-sheeter

As many as 21 people have been arrested so far in connection with the Jahangirpuri violence between two communities during a Hanuman Jayanti procession in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri area on Saturday evening.
According to Delhi Police, the main conspirator of the Jahangirpuri violence, Ansar, is a history-sheeter with two cases of assault and several cases of gambling registered against him.
