Pune records zero Covid deaths for first time in eight months

Pune reported zero deaths today, for the first time in eight months. The city reported 112 fresh Covid cases today taking the total caseload to 5,03,469. Meanwhile, Pune district logged a total of 406 new Covid cases and six deaths.

The city had recorded its maximum number of active cases, 56,636, on April 18 this year, at the beginning of the second wave.
