Punjab’s Covid-19 doubling rate, a key parameter indicating pandemic progress, has declined by 141 days in the span of eight days, a period coinciding with a sharp rise in the daily count of Covid-19 cases. The doubling rate refers to the number of days it takes for the cases to double.
A lower doubling rate means faster infection. After the January drop, the caseload is on a rise since the second week of February.
