Rajya Sabha passes Bill to merge three municipal corporations of Delhi

The Rajya Sabha passed the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2022, to merge three civic bodies, which the Bharatiya Janata Party rules.
The three corporations include North Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, and East Delhi Municipal Corporation.
